Standard (EADGBE)

Verse 1
Takin' my time
Choosin' my lines
Tryn to decide what to do
Looks like my stop
I don't wanna get off
Got myself hung up on you
Chorus 1
Seems to me
You don't wanna talk about it
Seems to me
You just turn your pretty head and walk a - way (Walk a - way)
Verse 2
Places I've known
Things that I'm growin'
Don't taste the same with - out you
I got myself in
The worst mess I've been
And I find myself starvin' with - out you
Chorus 2
Comes to - day
Talk all night here come the mornin'
Come what may
You just forget what we said and greet the day (Hey, hey! Walk a - way)
Walk a - way walk a - way
Solo
Bridge
(tacet)
I've got to cool myself down
Stompin' around
Thinkin' some words I can't name ya
I guess its okay
I got nothin to say
Still I don't s'ppose I can blame ya
Chorus 3
Seems to me
You don't wanna talk about it
Seems to me
You just turn your pretty head and walk away
Whoa! Walk a - way walk away, ahhh
Walk, walk, walk, walk a - way
Walk, walk, walk, walk a way
While this song was originally performed by Joe Walsh, on his
You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind album, this version appeared
on their Farewell Tour I CD.
This is my interpretation of the song and is what I hear. Since
U-G doesn't always include the correct chord voicings, I have
included all of them in this transcription. Please feel free to
experiment with your own chord voicings.
The E in the chorus may be skipped if necessary. For the most
part, it is a passing chord and happens so fast, less
experienced players may find it difficult to play it and keep
up. If you find this is the case, simply skip the Es in the
chorus and play the other chords. The song will still sound good.
